Frog Pond Box

The unique three-dimensional texture of the lid design makes the Frog Pond Box a true work of art. A frog is relaxing on a lily pad while a dragonfly looks on from a fern leaf. The lid is handcrafted in a proprietary technique from cast architectural gypsum cement with natural shellac and metallic pigments. Each lid is hand-detailed and finished with four to six layers of metallic pigment.

The body of the box is made from bamboo, painted black on the outside and unpainted on the inside to reveal natural bamboo color. The lid has a metal knob in the center. Round knobs are used for the square boxes, each finished in a patina matching the main lid color.
