Executed in clear and dichroic frit fused onto exquisitely cut and sandblasted clear glass, the surrounding forest catches and holds the glitter of an ice storm that typically would last but a few hours. Whether it's geology, ecology, or just the survival of the fittest, winter in Yellowstone is a standoff of natural forces. Using both sheet and frit forms of art glass, the Yellowstone Standoff glasscape captures a moment of intense vitality between predator wolves and their bison prey set in the frozen dormancy of a high country winter.

Yosemite captures the famous tunnel view of California's Yosemite Valley, including El Capitan, Clouds Rest, Half Dome, Sentinel Rock and Dome, and Bridalveil Fall pouring down from Cathedral Rocks. Executed entirely in fused art glass, the piece is rendered primarily through the use of glass pigments reverse-painted and fused, as well as with frit (crushed art glass) arranged to achieve the textured look of foreground conifers.
